Hello, Fellow Paddlers,

Van, Sheila and Mark are happy to announce that after 28 years of running Bosman’s Pine River Canoe Rental we sold the business.

Rylie Gates has purchased the rental and is renaming it 

Hoxeyville Outfitters.

Rylie has over 17 years of experience running rentals on the Pine and has big plans for the future. We are pleased he purchased the business and are confident in his ability to meet and exceed your needs and expectations going forward.  Some of you may even recognize him and his dog, Jeffo , from your time at the landings.

Van and Sheila will continue to handle reservations for the 2024 season until Rylie takes over in the spring. Please join us in welcoming Rylie by giving us a call at 877-622-6637 to make your summer reservation.

Rylie has worked the Pine for 18 years and knows the river like no one else I know. 

Rylie is experienced  with putting customers in the right equipment and on the right section of the river.  He is excited to help you have a great experience on the river he loves.

We have 62 kayaks, primarily Perception Prodigy 10 foot kayaks with comfortable seats and a stable hull for your best paddling experience.

Our canoes are Mad River and Old Town 16 footers.

We have 30 rafts of various sizes for families and groups who want a more relaxed trip on the Pine.

We  will help facilitate the spotting of your vehicle to your designated endpoint. We provide you with the parking passes needed, you will follow us to where your trip will end, and we will provide transportation back to the startpoint.

 Operating paddlecraft on a river includes elements of risk, as does any
active outdoor recreation. We discourage anyone impaired by medication,
drugs or alcohol to operate paddlecraft. Pregnant women need to
consider their physical condition, paddling skills and river conditions
to determine acceptable risk.

Bosman's Pine River Canoe Rental LLC does not assume liability for
personal injuries or accidents. Group leaders sign a waiver and release
form prior to the trip.
